The Technical Services User Experience Designer will be responsible for designing all of the user experience elements of a client's site. Working with a team of web developers and engineers, the designer will create usable, eye-catching designs that translate the client brand's look and feel to the social marketing experience. The designer must be familiar with user-centered design methods and best practices of web-based interfaces. The designer will need to provide a portfolio with examples of software user experience design, HTML web user experience design, and/or HTML web visual design.
Main Responsibilities:
- Working with account managers, technical managers and web developers to create designs for client Panorama sites that conform to client brand guidelines while fulfilling site business objectives.
- Assist product manager, senior user experience designer and engineering team with designs for new or enhanced product features.
- Produce error free. high quality production visual assets to communicate a design approach.
- Produce graphic and imagery assets for content and promotional production.
- Development of user experience guidelines and UI specification documentation.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with members of management and production staff.
- Justify design proposals using best practices and business goals.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- MA or BA in Interaction Design, Visual Communication, Visual Design or equivalent.
- A solid understanding of the fundamentals of user interface design.
- An online design portfolio showcasing creative, usable web designs.
- Ability to work under deadline pressure.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Mastery with Illustrator, Photoshop, and HTML/Web authoring, In-design or equivalent.
- 3-5 years relevant work experience.
